Occupational Therapist Opportunity
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment services to employees to assist with improving their health and well-being, as well as assisting with maximizing function to enable employees to stay at work or return to work in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct workplace assessments and job demands analysis to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for accommodations and return to work plans.
Provide treatment services, including hand therapy and rehabilitation, to employees with repetitive strain injuries and other work-related conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement employee health and wellness programs, education, and inquiries.
Conduct Functional Abilities Evaluations (FAE) and work hardening programs to facilitate recovery and return to work, as needed.
Develop and implement process/job reviews for suitability in preparation for accommodation, return to work plans, and modified work.
Liaise with other departments, such as Health and Safety, to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and good standing.
Experience with the treatment of repetitive strain injuries and concussion is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and other healthcare professionals.
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
