Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping employees improve their health and well-being, and assisting them in maximizing their function to stay at work or return to work as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of employees to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide treatment and interventions to help employees overcome physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement employee health and wellness programs.
  • Conduct workplace assessments and job demands analysis to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans and accommodations to help employees safely return to work.
  • Provide education and training to employees, managers, and other stakeholders on workplace health and safety topics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience working with employees with repetitive strain injuries, concussions, and other workplace-related injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
