Certification/Completions Coordinator Job Description

Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled Certification/Completions Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling the Wood Commissioning Services Completions Management System (CMS) database, ensuring effective hand-over for the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of an oil and gas production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise and consult with stakeholders to promote and market effective Commissioning information and records management practices.
  • Coordinate needs and provide recommendations that align with the strategic direction for departmental corporate knowledge and records management.
  • Manage and control the CMS database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Setup and populate the CMS database from engineering deliverables and track/report project status.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and recommend options for improving the CMS database and related processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills and experience with database management software, including GoTechnology, Omega PIMS, and CMS.
  • Knowledge of management of engineering asset tables and associated metadata information.
  • Experience with 3D visualization tools, such as AVEVA and Hexagon.
  • Expertise in certification process from construction, mechanical completion, pre-comm, commissioning, to start-up.
  • Familiarity with Power BI report builder and SQL server scripting.
  • Data management skills.
Education and Experience:

A combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Educated to diploma level or relevant experience in a similar position for the past 10 years is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil/gas/petrochemical field with familiarity of the onshore and refinery commissioning industries is required.

Strong computer skills and completions database experience are necessary. Familiarity with Power BI report builder and SQL server scripting is an asset.
