Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Pilot to join our team at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting hangar, ground, and flight tests to certify new aircraft on behalf of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct production test flights to ensure new aircraft meet safety and performance standards
  • Provide technical expertise in the development of flight manuals and checklists
  • Reposition aircraft to various bases or to customers as required
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of technical manuals and procedures
  • Accurately complete pre and post-flight documentation
  • Provide flight planning and coordination as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering degree
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering flight testing of Transport Category aircraft
  • Familiarity with TC, FAA, or EASA-approved engineering flight test processes and procedures
  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot License with a rating on a large turbo-prop aircraft type
  • Minimum 4,000 hours of total flying time and 500 hours of command time on a related turboprop aircraft
  • Proven ability to execute duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew, management, and customers
