CareCorp Senior Services Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our beautiful Long-Term Care Facilities in Nelson, BC.

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and administering medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering medications
  • Directly supervise care staff to meet resident needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
  • Cultural education and experience are preferred
