A key role within our Finance team at CB Canada, the Senior Analyst, Expense Operations will be responsible for the daily operations of the centralized global expense processing and payments for client investments in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the expense processing and payments, including the review and approval of vendor invoices and employee expenses
- Responsible for payment and cash management activities, including timely payment processing and bank reconciliations
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including Accounts Payable subledger close and variance analysis
- Work with Finance groups to provide supporting analysis and documents for month-end close, tax filing, and financial reporting
- Proactively identify, enhance, and develop new accounting processes and procedures
- Assist stakeholders on expense-related matters and respond to queries in a timely manner
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business, with a professional accounting designation preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a related role, preferably in Corporate Accounting
- Committed to continuous improvement and building scalable and standardized processes within a robust control environment
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships with key business partners
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think through problems and recommend solutions
- Exceptional time management and project prioritization skills, with the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines
