As a Strategic Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, providing them with practical advice and management consulting solutions to help them achieve their business goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to undertake business development activities, win new opportunities, and assess client needs. You will also propose advisory services to increase and ensure the nurturing of Canadian entrepreneurs' businesses.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to generate impact and support our commitment to making Canadian entrepreneurs leaders in the world. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who has experience in business development within the services sector or within a consulting firm. You should have a proven track record of a 'results orientation,' experience working with local entrepreneurs from SMEs, and strong business acumen and critical thinking abilities.

A Bachelor's degree coupled with professional credentials such as an MBA, CPA, PMP, or CMC is required. Experience with a wide array of industries and developing new business while maintaining existing clients is also an asset. You should possess a rich network and influence within your local region, strategic insight, high emotional intelligence, and world-class client service orientation.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect to receive a salary of around $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy flexible and competitive benefits, including an Employee Savings and Investment Plan, a Defined Benefit Pension Plan, a $750 wellness and health care spending account, and five personal days per year.
