We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work with diverse populations, including infants, preschool age children, and adults with speech language delays or disorders.

About the Role

As a Regional Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive therapy plans, guiding clients and their caregivers in implementing these plans, and monitoring client progress. You will work closely with various sectors and service providers to provide support, resources, tools, and referrals for clients with speech language delays or disorders, as well as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective speech language therapy plans for clients
  • Provide guidance and support to clients and their caregivers in implementing therapy plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) degree
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with speech language delays or disorders
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to adapt to diverse service delivery settings
  • Intermediate level proficiency in written communication skills
Working Conditions

This is a full-time regular position with a salary range of $46,774 to $57,195 per year, plus benefits. The successful candidate will be required to travel on remote roads or fly in small aircraft to remote communities.
