Position Overview

Reporting to the Client Services Manager - Rehabilitation Services, the Audiologist operates with a high degree of independence as a member of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The incumbent plans, delivers, and evaluates hearing services for the infant, preschool, school and adult populations, and in addition, provides consultative public / parent / caregiver education and training services.

Experience

Previous experience in the field of Audiology preferred

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited post-secondary institution Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada

Qualifications and Skills

Skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal

Physical Requirements

Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting. Must be able to work under stress and time constraints.
