About the Job:
Skyland Painting is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye coordination
- Physically demanding
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
