We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Skyland Painting. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Work EnvironmentOur work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. As a Painter, you will work outdoors and in confined spaces, and may be exposed to odors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
- Work with a variety of equipment and machinery, including brushes, conventional spray painting, and roller painting
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, and kneeling
