Logistics Optimization Specialist

Maison Riviera, a renowned food company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to optimize distribution operations and maintain exceptional service for internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement action plans to optimize distribution and logistics, including relationships with 3PLs and internal and external distributor routes.
  • Analyze and replenish external customer inventories (VMI - Vendor Managed Inventory).
  • Coordinate and monitor inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure data and processes are up-to-date with the 3PL.
  • Develop, update, and optimize IT tools for inventory management.
  • Monitor logistics performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize external logistics flows and internal truck fleet.
  • Implement an ERP system for permanent inventory management, including transfers between factories.

Requirements:

  • University degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent experience.
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience in logistics distribution.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and Excel software.
  • Experience in the food or dairy industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
