We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing delicious meals for our guests. Your expertise in menu planning, food safety, and kitchen management will ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs of our guests
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook or chef in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
