Citizen Services Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Citizen Services Officer to join our team at Service Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to citizens, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to citizens, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and manage citizen requests, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of government programs and services to provide accurate information to citizens.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Enhanced reliability security clearance.
Working Conditions

This is a casual position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Language

This position requires bilingualism (English and French) and excellent written and oral communication skills.
