About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Video Engineering team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of engineering solutions that enable us to quickly and efficiently identify and resolve issues impacting the video streaming consumer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anticipate bottlenecks and recognize the most impactful issues to the watch experience, generating appropriate visibility with senior-most leadership at WBD.
  • Negotiate, prioritize, and track mitigation and resolution of trending problems identified by QoE analysts.
  • Drive cross-cutting strategic initiatives and maintain a portfolio view of the roadmap, priorities, KPIs, and mechanisms for all Video QoE team deliverables.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between the Video Engineering teams, Product and other engineering teams, and stakeholders.
  • Guide and organize development teams to sustain high-quality watch experiences that delight customers and are in line with organizational goals and OKRs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering background.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business operations, technical program and project management, or a similar role supporting product management teams.
  • Experience working directly with video or content systems and understanding and identifying issues in quality of experience measures.
  • Proficiency in system architecture, design, and data flow structures.
  • Demonstrated capability for problem-solving, data-backed decision-making, sound judgment, and assertiveness, and strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
