Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc.

Job Summary:

The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Transportation: Schedule transportation conveyances to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate and compliant shipping procedures.
  • Assemble Containers: Assemble containers and crates to prepare for shipping and receiving.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain Record-Keeping: Maintain an internal record-keeping system to track inventory, shipments, and receipts.
  • Route Goods: Route goods to appropriate storage areas to ensure efficient and organized storage.
  • Pack and Unpack Goods: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Affix Shipping Information: Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments to ensure accurate and compliant shipping procedures.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Langue de travail: Anglais.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and tight deadlines.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
