Retail Store Manager

At Dépanneur Du Village, we are seeking a skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing sales teams, ordering merchandise, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Order merchandise and manage inventory to meet customer demands
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. They will also be able to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week and a language of work in English.
