Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Dépanneur Du Village. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers to ensure efficient store operations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
Our store operates in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. You must be able to work effectively in this setting, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.
