The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT security frameworks and the ability to identify and mitigate risks to the organization.

Key responsibilities will include evaluating the current state of information technology, assessing alignment with the BC Government's Security Framework, and identifying gaps and vulnerabilities in physical, financial, business, and system controls. The consultant will also assess the security, privacy, and resiliency of technologies used to achieve the organization's strategy and meet its business needs.

Must Have Skills:

  • Previous experience performing IT assessments and identifying security risks for clients within BC
  • Experience with providing IT assessments in alignment with the BC Government's Security Framework

Deliverables:

  • A comprehensive report on findings, gaps, and recommendations for mitigating risk to the organization

Requirements:

  • 3.5 month contract
  • Travel to different locations in the interior of BC
