About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team at Port Hardy Town Pantry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of up to 3-4 employees, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure they have the tools and resources required to excel in their roles
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
- Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Prepare and present reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to senior management
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and senior management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
