About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and efficiently run.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Planning: Develop and implement effective inventory plans to ensure that our stores have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with our suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our inventory management team, including training and development of team members.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key metrics.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair of inventory management systems and equipment.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of inventory management tasks.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
