Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Planning: Develop and implement effective inventory plans to meet business needs, taking into account factors such as demand, lead times, and storage capacity.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, ensuring that all items are accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth inventory movements and timely deliveries.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
