About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at MAGS 99 Fried Chicken and Mexican Cantina. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload dishes, utensils, and equipment from dishwashers and storage areas.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Prepare and package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and restock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
