Position Overview

At Autodesk, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with our software. As a Software Automation Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Desktop software products and Cloud Services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, engineering pipelines, and scripts
  • Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them
  • Develop comprehensive software automation test plans and cases to ensure the quality of feature functionality and workflow, application performance
  • Continuously improve test automation processes and methodologies to increase coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor automation test dashboards and reports for engineering processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Master's degree is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of C++/C# or Python programming skills
  • Knowledge and experience with testing automation tools and frameworks is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies is a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for learning and improving your skills
  • Self-motivated, possessing initiative to get things done with high quality
