Job Title: Backend Software Engineer - Automation Specialist

About the Role:
At TEEMA, we're seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you'll design and develop new automation leveraging platform infrastructure and tooling. Your primary focus will be on improving monitoring, observability, and alerting for backend services, ensuring security is always considered first to protect customer data. You'll also contribute to our Dashboard Core Services product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automation leveraging platform infrastructure and tooling
• Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting for backend services
• Ensure security is always considered first to protect customer data
• Contribute to our Dashboard Core Services product roadmap

Requirements:
• 3+ years of direct relevant experience in software development using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Strong skills with proficiency in TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
• General knowledge of cloud-native environments and CLI tools
• Strong ability to communicate asynchronously through Slack, Confluence, and written documentation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in SaaS environments or building customer/product-facing dashboards
• Familiarity with good engineering practices and testing
• Comfort with Linux shell commands, particularly in a Mac environment
