Job Summary

Purolator is seeking a skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our transportation network to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create monthly reports on network utilization, capacity, and volumes.
  • Provide proactive problem-solving, re-routes, and alternate hub sorts.
  • Develop and maintain costing models for network re-routes and charters.
  • Collaborate with Ground and Air Operations Teams for network change planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on variations to plan and carrier performance.
  • Contribute to budget planning and forecasting on network costing, routes, and capacity issues.
  • Develop tools and reports using data analysis and visualization techniques.
  • Implement a continuous improvement approach to optimize network performance.
  • Assist in forecast review and schedule maintenance for static and dynamic networks.
  • Maintain SAP TM master data objects, including default routes and schedules.
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience in transportation planning and analysis, including experience with SAP TM, Qlikview, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of network distribution principles, practices, and systems.
  • Operational process management experience and knowledge of business intelligence dashboards.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks while achieving timelines and commitments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education

Equivalent to completion of high school plus an additional work-related program up to one academic year of duration.
