Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of transportation specialists to ensure high levels of service, production, and quality metrics are achieved.
  • Create optimized service routes to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery services to our clients.
  • Monitor daily delivery routes for compliance to routing solutions and manage scanning platform usage.
  • Work closely with outsourced vendors to maintain fleet in a prescribed manner and establish proper workflow for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are adhered to pursuant to Company Operating Standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 or 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, including hiring, training, writing performance appraisals, and administering the disciplinary process.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a service industry, with prior experience with customer interaction.
  • CDL preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a multi-stop dispatch management environment and managing drivers in daily route compliance.
  • Experience using mapping software to develop, analyze, and audit driver routes.
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures.
  • Advanced experience using Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
