About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food and Beverage Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records.
    • Prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and physically demanding work.
