Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at the International Federation of Accountants. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our global mission to strengthen public financial management and sustainable development globally.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects, including managing and collaborating with others to meet project goals and deadlines. You will work closely with our volunteer board to develop standard-setting solutions to emerging public sector issues, including leading and managing technical team members in the delivery of our work program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain public sector financial and sustainability reporting standards
  • Inspire adoption and implementation of IPSAS and international public sector sustainability reporting standards
  • Engage with stakeholders, including governments, regulators, standard setters, and professional accountancy organizations
  • Lead complex projects, including managing and collaborating with others to meet project goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • Technical expertise in accounting, sustainability reporting, and public financial management
  • Project management expertise, including experience leading complex projects
  • Strong leadership, knowledge, and expertise in standard-setting and public sector accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
