We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Dawson Creek Super 8 Motel Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Front Desk Operations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Clerical Duties: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
