Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Dawson Creek Super 8 Motel Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Front Desk Operations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Clerical Duties: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
