About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. in a Concrete Block Production role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate single-function machines to mix, drill, grind, and cut concrete to specifications.
  • Quality Control: Check products for quality control to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, and hot environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent.
  • Instrument Experience: Hydraulic.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, and sitting.
  • Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, and team player.
