Job Title: Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Alithya. As a key member of our Credit Risk Technology division, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing risk computation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale risk applications using Java and microservices patterns.
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver projects that meet business growth opportunities and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Leverage industry-standard DevOps practices and tooling for CI/CD, TDD, and build tools.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of future risk platform versions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of Java experience with a strong understanding of JVM internals.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, Hadoop, distributed caching, big data streaming technologies, and RDBMS packages.
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD toolset, Jenkins, and Agile environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment and supporting flexible goals aligned with business priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge and experience with pandas, Flask, and other Python frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Scala, Angular, React, Excel integration, ELK, and TypeScript.
