Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with College of Pharmacists regulations and company policies.
  • Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and, where applicable, internal and contractual obligations.
  • Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care for patients, including supervising and coordinating the dispensing and clinical activities of pharmacists.
  • Support pharmacy technicians and assistants in the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
  • Contribute to operational activities that optimize pharmacy processes.
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager with the development and implementation of pharmacy financial plans and overall business strategy.
  • Participate in regular operations meetings with pharmacy leadership team.
  • Ensure proper accounting on billing and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate and liaise with the Distribution, Patient Programs, Clinics and Nursing divisions.
  • Assist with the implementation of new projects to drive and support the pharmacy business.
  • Establish and maintain effective relations with internal and external clients, stakeholders and all on-site personnel.
  • May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role.
  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.
  • Current registration with the College of Pharmacists, Schedule A.
  • 5 years in pharmacy, with a minimum 2 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provincial regulations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Working knowledge of Kroll.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS office software including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Medical Information experience is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset.What Cencora Offers
