Job Title: Senior Civil or Mechanical Engineer

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil or Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy team specializing in hydropower and dam engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating major projects related to dams and hydroelectric facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead project management and coordination for major projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  2. Supervise the design of hydraulic structures and works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Participate in the management and technical coordination of major projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  5. Master technical solutions, ensuring their adequacy with clients' needs and industry standards.
  6. Plan project stages, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with schedules.
  7. Ensure quality control of project practices, verifying the work of other specialized engineers.
  8. Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, technicians, and draftspersons involved in the projects.
Requirements:
  1. University Degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  2. Master's Degree, Business Administration Diploma, or Project Management certification (an asset).
  3. More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of hydroelectricity/hydropower and dams.
  4. Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to register.

This position requires bilingual proficiency as a fundamental skill, empowering you to engage effectively with our diverse stakeholders nationwide.
