About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join our team at Perimeter Aviation LP. As a Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fixed-wing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flight Operations
    • Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Plan and execute safe and efficient flight routes, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic control, and other factors
    • Monitor and control aircraft systems, including navigation, communication, and safety equipment
    • Make decisions in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or system failures
  • Crew Management
    • Lead and manage a team of flight crew members, including co-pilots and cabin crew
    • Ensure that all crew members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
    • Coordinate with ground crews and air traffic control to ensure smooth flight operations
  • Maintenance and Safety
    • Conduct post-flight inspections to identify any issues or defects with the aircraft
    • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the maintenance team
    • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed, including emergency procedures and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Commercial Pilot Licence - fixed wing
    • Airline Pilot Transport Licence - fixed wing
    • Flight instrument rating
    • Visual Flight Rating
    • Multi-instrument Flight Rating
  • Experience and Skills
    • At least 7 months of experience as a commercial pilot
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
    • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and safety procedures
  • Physical and Mental Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time and work in a confined space
    • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination
