Associate Vice President of Insurance Solutions

Navacord is seeking a dynamic and experienced insurance professional to join our team as an Associate Vice President. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic plans and driving business growth in the insurance practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Work alongside the VP, Insurance Operations, to develop and implement strategic plans for the insurance practice.
- Lead client, prospect, and market-facing initiatives to drive business development and growth.
- Mentor and coach frontline brokers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage carrier relationships and ensure effective communication with key clients.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction risk and surety bonding market in Canada.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in the construction segment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and socializing acumen, with a personable and friendly demeanor.
- Superior problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership instinct and client-centric mindset.
- Positive experience leading a team is an asset, but the desire to lead is more important.
- CAIB, CRM, CIP, FCIP, or CPIB designation is an asset, as is post-secondary education.
- Ability to work independently and with all levels of the organization.
- RIBO license is required.
