Job Summary

MANITOBA LTD is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Record Cargo Information: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Driver Logbook: Maintain a driver logbook to record hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Inspection Report: Prepare inspection reports for pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work on the road, often for extended periods. You must be able to sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
