Facility Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Facility Monitor. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming the public to our various indoor and outdoor recreational and sporting facilities, providing information about activities offered by the Parks and Recreation Department, and ensuring compliance with regulations concerning the conduct of activities and the use of facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enrol participants in various activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of registrations.
- Compile attendance records for control purposes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure that staff complete attendance sheets according to established guidelines and forward them to their supervisor.
- Conduct tours of the premises and external sites to ensure compliance with regulations, taking necessary measures to maintain a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Provide basic first aid and report any anomalies observed during work to the supervisor.
- Ensure the availability of facilities according to established schedules, preparing basic reports as needed.
- Secondary 3 Diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate in First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation from a recognized organization.
- No experience required, but any combination of education and experience deemed sufficient to perform the job.
- Bilingualism.
- Knowledge of regulations in force in various installations.
