Facility Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Facility Monitor. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming the public to our various indoor and outdoor recreational and sporting facilities, providing information about activities offered by the Parks and Recreation Department, and enrolling participants in activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enroll participants in activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of registrations.
- Compile attendance records for various activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure compliance with regulations concerning the conduct of activities and the use of facilities, conducting regular site visits to monitor and report on any issues.
- Provide first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Report any anomalies or concerns to the supervisor, ensuring prompt attention to any issues.
- Secondary 3 Diploma or equivalent.
- First Aid certification, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
