Data Science Lead for Healthcare Innovation

With over 90,000 practitioners on our platform, we've helped more than a million patients follow a path to wellness. Now, we're looking for a Data Science Lead to join our Data team and help shape the future of integrative care.
This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage machine learning techniques and make a significant impact on the healthcare industry. As a Data Science Lead, you'll work closely with our Data, Engineering, and Product teams to establish and build the necessary ML infrastructure to support our goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data mining techniques. They should also be proficient in Python and SQL, with experience working with common machine learning tools and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
We're excited to offer a competitive salary of $180,000 per year, plus benefits including a flexible paid time off program, full RRSP match program, stock options, and a custom benefits package with HSA. You'll also have the opportunity to work wherever you work well, with half-day Fridays and no meeting Wednesdays.
In this role, you'll drive tangible value for our practitioners and patients by developing the best integrative care platform. You'll collaborate with our Data and Engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI/ML can be leveraged to solve problems for practitioners and patients. You'll also work with leadership to understand opportunities where AI/ML can be used to solve complex problems that will directly impact the success and growth of our organization.
What We're Looking For- 5+ years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successfully working cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Product, UX to bring ML solutions to production.
- Experience with Large Language Models (GPT, Gemini, Claude, etc) and LLM frameworks (Langchain).
- Demonstrated ability to understand different business domains and provide guidance and leadership in identifying opportunities to apply machine learning to help solve problems.
