Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns to engage with the university community
• Create multimedia content, including photos, videos, and animations, to promote university events and initiatives
• Support the planning of social initiatives and marketing events to increase university visibility
• Prepare a variety of communication materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, and press releases
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement social media strategies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

Requirements:
• Current York student, preferably in Communication & Social Studies, Cinema & Media Studies, Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or Visual Art
• Previous communications experience, including content generation on social & digital media platforms
• Experience with social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, is an asset
• Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
• Ability to learn and use editing software and a variety of computer applications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively
