We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. In this challenging position, you will report to the Manager, Marketing & Communications and be responsible for providing support for CCNM's ongoing communications and marketing efforts through the development, implementation and evaluation of social media strategies and marketing initiatives.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining an appropriate online social presence on social media channels that promotes an excellent online image of CCNM and CCNM Clinics.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and communications team to coordinate social media strategies and create and maintain content as required.
  • Partnering with all departments and student community and associations to provide guidance and assistance on the development of social media content, meet their social media objectives, feature opportunities while maintaining brand and content consistency.
  • Responsible for the production and editing of print and digital marketing materials, ensuring that they meet CCNM brand standards and needs.
  • Coordinating, marketing and hosting monthly clinic webinars, including website event setup and registration, organic social media and paid Facebook/Instagram ads, email and newsletter marketing and registration reports.

Onboarding for this position will be on-site, and a flexible work schedule will be determined based on operational needs.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • A baccalaureate degree in Social Media, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or a similar field.
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience and understanding of industry best practices for social media platforms, graphic design applications and email marketing platforms.
  • Combined knowledge of design processes and technologies for web with visual communication skills.
  • Ability to function at an extremely high level on both PC and MAC platforms and Microsoft Suite software.
  • Experience with Drupal is an asset.
  • Proficiency in SEO, web analytics and social media monitoring tools.
  • Excellent organization, analytical, research and time management skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Tact, discretion and the ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment.
  • Experience working with MS Office applications.
