At JDKL Enterprises Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in food service management an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check required.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hot kitchen environment, standing for extended periods, and will be required to lift and move heavy objects. The work schedule will be 32 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
