Rising Edge Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Setup: Assist in the initial project setup, ensuring all necessary documentation, budgets, and project teams are in place for effective project kick-off.
- Project Execution: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project execution plans, critical risk paths, and milestone schedules.
- Change Management: Manage project changes through established procedures, ensuring all changes are properly communicated to clients and project teams.
- Documentation: Maintain all project documentation, including project execution plans, risk registers, schedules, health and safety plans, quality plans, and other mandatory project documents.
- Financial Management: Report project expenditures to the Project Manager and ensure adherence to approved budgets. Align man-hour projections for assigned projects.
- Material Management: Coordinate project materials, equipment, and subcontract activities to ensure successful and timely delivery of project requirements.
- Accounting: Process accounts receivable and payable invoices to maintain cash flow.
- Reporting: Maintain project reporting for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication between clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Safety and Quality: Maintain reporting of safety and environmental requirements, as well as quality and acceptance requirements, for each assigned project.
- Staffing: Identify project staffing requirements, including specialty consultants and subcontractors, and set clear expectations for project team members.
- Project Close-Out: Support the Project Manager in project close-out and post-mortem activities to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience managing medium to large full-cycle construction projects.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, HardDollar, and ViewPoint Construction Software.
- Driver's License: Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
