PAL Aerospace is a leading international aerospace and defense company that specializes in design, development, and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, heavy maintenance checks, and modifications. We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.

PAL Aerospace is currently seeking a qualified Project Coordinator to join our team in St. John's, NL. This is a fixed-term position.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Project Planning – assisting project managers in creating detailed action plans, including project forecasting and relevant project plans.
  2. Project Execution – reporting to management and project managers on coordination activities, providing necessary project oversight, and ensuring all deliverables are well coordinated and completed within target dates.
  3. Project Monitoring & Control – assisting project reporting to senior management using business analysis tools, monitoring project status and progress against major milestones, and utilizing preventive/corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Project Closure – assisting in managing closure plans and activities, verifying closure checklists, and communicating relevant information to team members.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is preferred.
  3. Ability to maintain filing systems, databases, and create meeting minutes and action items.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure accurate messaging across all levels of the organization.
  5. Knowledge of JAMA and Power BI is an asset.
