Restaurant Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Manila Grill Restaurant 170 St. West. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Work Environment and Requirements
The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a client-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Safe Food Handling certificate and be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Public transportation is available.
