Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Royal Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
- Standing for extended periods and walking throughout the restaurant
- Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail
Personal Suitability:
- Client focus and excellent oral communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Experience:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
