Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Urban Impact Recycling Ltd. This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $75,000-$90,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks and other equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
