Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Urban Impact Recycling Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
